Any one had any luck around Monroe? I got a little time to go in the morning but have not heard any good reports lately. Might hit Bartholomew if no one chimes in with a good report.

I read just the other day that someone had caught some good fish on Claiborne. That lake isn't too far from Monroe. Bayou D'Arbonne should be getting close.

What about on the trees at Black Bayou?
Unfortunately, my primary boat is 10hp too big to launch. My jon boat needs major motor repairs & new wood for the motor mount. I have been thinking about Bayou Bartholomew.
I went to Bartholomew this morning but didn't have any luck. If you have seen the local news you know why I kept getting buzzed by helicopters!!!!! They found the guy dead not far from were I was fishing. My first chance to fish in weeks and I choose Bartholomew were they are having a full blown man hunt with the national guard----snakebit.
