Tracker boat trailers...FYI

For anyone thinking about purchasing a new Tracker boat.My buddy bought a brand new "Pro Crappie" less than 2 years ago.The bunks on his trailer are rotting already.He called the dealer to see what was going on.They told him the EPA will not let Tracker use treated wood for their trailers :confused:......just thought I'd pass this on.
I won't be purchasing a Tracker anytime soon.

Do you think the EPA would be specific just to tracker.. If that is the requirement, they will all have to abide by the rules. I wouldn't let $20 worth of wood sway me on a deal.

BW,I don't know.I read on Xpress boats website that they use treated wood for their trailers.
