Any of ya'll fish Big Cypress between Caddo lake and Jefferson? Love it there, but haven't been in a while. Got a couple little honeyholes there come spring. Plannin on spending a long weekend there in March.

I fished there once. I believe it was this past summer and we didn't do too good, but it was beautiful. I would definitely go again. From what I have heard, Big Cypress before it empties into the west end of LOP is good too. Never been there though.
If you ever head back that way, let me know and i'll give you coordinates for a pretty good hole. You can't get a large boat in there but an average bass boat could make it. Been on the Bayou with luck and no luck but never disappointed for going there. Truely one of Gods masterpieces. Always wonderd how the sand bass run goes there but i have never hit it then.
I wanted to make the run from LOP to Caddo back when I had my 16ft Tracker stick steer. I don't see me making it in my Triton!
Did that back in high school, but was to busy drinkin to fish. Would do it again though. I got a poor mans boat but it's a get anywhere boat. So if you ever decide you'd like to try it or somethin of the sort hollar, im in.
we have made the trip3 times from Jefferson down to Caddo,, if water is up, easy trip, we talked to game warden and he gave a few spots that could be a problem, We did not fish just watched the scenery, its about 3 hrs for us to hwy 42 bridge from ramp just past Jefferson.. We have put in at Johnsons Ranch at Uncertain and gone up stream also. If we make it this spring / summer I may contact lighthorse69.
