How is the best way to transfer my waypoints from my garmin etrex to my eagle unit on my boat? Or will I have to sit there and manually punch in all the coordinates? Thanks, Dan

Download waypoints from etrex to either sd card (copy to computer) or directly to computer via cable.
Use GPSBabel to translate from Garmin format to Eagle/Lowrance format and copy translated file to sd card.
Put sd card in Eagle and copy file to unit.
Delete all waypoints in the unit's memory and load the file you just copied.
+1, I did that for years b/w a garmin, Lowrance and HB unit before I got Navplanner2 software.
GPS Visualizer: Web interface to GPSBabel
Thanks guys. Would I have to delete all of the internal memory on the unit to load new files? Will just a regular sd card work like goes in a camera? I have a navonics map card in the unit now.
Take the map card out and just put a regular sd card with the file on it in the unit. Depending on how many you have, you do not have to delete the waypoints in internal memory. It eliminates duplicate points and keeps everything nice and clean.
Thanks PanMan
OK, for some reason I am really having trouble here. I have my unit plugged into my computer(serial port) and I get nothing. I called Garmin Support and they said I needed to purchase some sort of mapping software. My problem with this is that I dont want to spend anymore money on an old unit. I tried to download mapsource but it did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
