Buncha white pelicans at the 89 bridge.
I feel your pain... I didn't catch but one crappie Saturday, and i had snagged him. Hopefully the ice will completly melt and the water will warm up a little... Maybe this would get'em going again.
going either Friday or Saturday, maybe they will be back to something of a normal pattern by then.
me neither. wind was terrible up here,20mph gusting to 30.......

My son and I had about the same luck yesterday at Morgan's Point. Only caught three small Crappie and about a dozen large White Bass while trolling with jigs. My son did snag a 16.5 lb Paddlefish in the tail that took him 30 minutes to get to the boat. He really put up a fight on that 16 ft Capps and Coleman trolling rod with 6 lb line. We grilled the fillets last night over charcoal and hickory and it was fantastic. Hopefully warmer weather will put the Crappie in a feeding mood.
Tow boat Captain once told me "tastes just like turkey" LOL but this was around Thanksgiving.
