what happened did you leave that thing outside and the dirtdobbers get on it ??????
Magic putty?
I can't figure that one out either
I think it is call being too tight to buy a new one so you use $29 worth of epoxy puddy to fix the broken one.
I found some stuff called Plastix Bonder by Loctite at Lowes for around 9.00. Put mine back together last summer and haven't managed to break it off yet.
I don't care what it is and what it's for (I know what it is and what it's for) but it still looks DISGUSTING! Keep that thing hidden, Wannabe! YUCK!
Ha. Had a fella by the name of Loanstar read an old, old post on how to repair a transducer and PM me. I fixed that one in the pic with something called Steel-Tex. Just wanted to see if it could be done. I had bought that unit used and it came with the broken ducer and a brand new one in the box. Fixed the used one and ran it for 2 years before I upgraded. Worked out pretty well. Ended up selling the new Ducer for about 50% of what I paid for the unit. Tell me I can't work an angle. LOL.

Anything for a dolla'
I used the water weld putty on a broken ducer 3 years ago, still going strong.
