They're still there and biting, its prespawn for the wallys and they be feeding, hard. Just when it's to cold and your eyelets freeze is the only problem. Heres one to try, take a fluke or Gulp style bait and rig it sideways and float it under a bobber. Twitching it like a dying baitfish, twitch-pause, twitch twitch-pause. Make your movements about 8" and wait. You can adjust your depth as needed. I have one river we set it about 16" through the shallows and another about 32". Its mind-blowing, but man we can flat stack em up. Keep me posted
