I have been using some Maribou blood quill for some of my jigs and I really like the look of them, is there a drawback to using the feathers instead of hair or craft hair. Tell me what U prefer and why. I am new to this jig tying.:confused:

The biggest problem with using marabou is durability. I've been using Arctic fox or Finn raccoon as a substitute. It is a bit more expensive but lasts longer.
How is the action on the Finn coon.... I love the fox but never used the coon.
