This may be old news for some...
From what I just read in the Conservationist Magazine, we have a new reg change for labeling rods. This is done to protect a person from having their "Personal Information" on their gear. I believe that you only need to place your conservation ID on the label. The agent can get all the information off your conservation number. Sounds good to me, but I think we need to clarify before anyone takes this post as sound advice.
makes perfect sense to me. You'd hate to lose some gear and have it retrieved by some dirtball that want's to see what you may have lying around the house.
what if you do not have a fishing license or am not old enough to get the free pass, I qualify for both. did the article say.
or out of state trips on a non-res. license
Labeling rods? To show my ignorance, when exactly are you required to label your rods?
I think what they are referring to is trot lines and jugs, that sort of thing.
Beagle did they give you a license of any kind? If not, I guess they'll have to start doing that, so they can have your number assigned.
