the CDC Barnett Friut Jar tourney
OK guys and gals, we're getting real close to our first one and I can't wait!!!! It'll be great to see all you gewbers again and talk some Smak, drink a few drinks and just have some fantastic fellowship with all my Brothers. We'll finalize the Friday night get together soon. Right now we have a suggestion of MugShots over on Lakeland drive, then we have a new place. Burgers and Blues which I hear is outstanding. It's at 1060 E. County line road in Ridgeland.Cool Al of Stamps burgers owns it and they have a burger that it'd take both Feelay AND bigger to eat. Then we have McB's out by the rez. Those are 3 that I have been recomended but it's up to ALL of us to say which one. Personally, I'd like to go to Burgers and Blues. We're tossing around a little something different for this tourney as of this moment. A duel location registration. the only reason is that some will want to fish around my bridge and others in the South part of the lake and it's a long haul to go from one to the other. This MAY change based on the current we have coming through the bridge but we'll let you know for sure by next wednesday. Right now the kick off time will be at 7 due to it being light enough to boat safely. Checkin will be from 5:30ish to 6:30 at either location. Since we have it set up for 7 full hours of fishing, and our 7AM start time, you must stop fishing at 2 and be inline by 2:30 or you will be disqualified. The check in spots are at The Cock of the walk and up at Highway 43 at a place determined by Torch, Sat or WB. That's up to them but UNLESS there is alot of current, I'll be at Cock of the walk. The weigh in will be at Cock of the walk no matter where we checkin that morning. Both the Cock of the Walk and up at Tommy's (or Browns landing) are easy to find and If you need directions, just hollar and I'll get you directions.
please reread the rules before the tourney as as ALL decided on a couple of changes this year.
Now, who's ready to get their butt kick by THE DON DON???????
