Minn-Kota tie downs

Know I saw a thread on here but can not find it:confused:, Does anyone tie down the shaft on your TM while traveling ? on my Terrova it sure does move alot on the road seems like alot of weight on the head while in the storage pos. don't know if I need to brace it up or not, what do you guys do? may not hurt it but still alot of movement

Velcro strap works for me. I have seen several that have been secured & supported with a RAM Mount.

I use a RAM mount on mine when trailering and moving to another fishing area. Mine has a ball that attaches to the shaft with hose clamps and the mount attaches to the rail on the boat. It works great and is solid as a rock.
