Weather and fish finder
I took my boat to the dealership on Monday to get work done on it. He said they were slow and could use the work. I drove by today and my boat is sitting outside while the temps are in the single digits with 4" of snow on it. I just happend to remember my fishfinder is on my boat. Do you think the fishfinder will be ok?

should be, but I'd take it off anyway, never know if it might disappear from the boat and the shop would say they're not responsible for it.. JMO
by the way the weather here sucks also!!

It would depend on the storage temperature rating of the display in the fish finder as this would be the most vulnerable part. Most electronic parts are rated to somewhere like -20C (-4F) to -40C (-40F), except for some displays. I would find out from your fish finder manufacturer what the storage temperature rating for your unit is or you could just do like Wannebe says and remove it for safe keeping!
