You fishing Chotard Saturday?

We drove over Yesterday and WERE going to fish. When we left the house there wasn't any wind at all but when we got there it was 12-15 with 20 MPH gusts. Wouldn't have been bad but it was blowing right down the lake from Laney's to Chotard landing with small whitecaps and rolling waves. Add in 30 degrees air temp and we stood on the bank for 15 minutes and drove back home LOL I heard a rumor that the chute from Chotard to Albermarle was so low that stumps were blocking it. Had I known we coulda got through to Ambermarle, we woulda tried it but had heard we might not could have made it

The question, as I read it, is "Are you fishing Chotard Saturday?". Yes creek he's fishing Sat, so am I.

Hey Don you know we are going to have the tournament even if the wind blows!!!! I can't believe you drove all that way and didn't put your boat in. You say you heard there was a stump in the way. I guess you never heard how fishermen lie either!

One of those things Hugh. You didn't see the look in my wifes eyes when I said something about launching the boat. LOL I'll be ready for the tourney man, don;t worry bout that. Now TRY not to have a sore head at the tourney this time. LOL

I just talked to Chotard Landing and he said the chute was open.
