Can Boo Condos be tied closed for easy travel?

I was wondering if after the concrete completly hardens can you pull all the limbs and tops together and tie them up? I was thinking of making some Boo condos. Just was wondering if they could be tied up where they take up less room during travel.
I have a 16' flat trailer I could haul them on. But being able to tie them closed would make them less wind resistant on the travel, and easier to haul.

I was thinking of un-tying them in the boat before dropping. Is there enough flex in the limbs to prevent breaking them?

Am no expert with `boo, but if it`s still very fresh/ just cut can`t see why you could`nt...would try to angle it out as far as possible before the cement sets though; have seen many posts state that tall thick centers are not as effective at holding "biguns" as an "umbrella" effect with slightly thinner shorter sets...

If it's green I tie them up tight and cut the ties just before sinking.

One more question. Has anyone tried knocking the bucket back off after it hardens. And save the bucket. What about lining the bucket with felt paper or something before filling with concrete. Figured that way, make them even cheaper, and save the bucket.
Just a thought.

Some use cheap plastic dish pans and reuse them several times.

yes I do tie mine up some easier for moving and transporting
I sunk 8 bamboo and 10 pvc this morning
the more you sink the more tricks you will figure out
I have sunk over 70 bamboo last year
27 pvc trees or thats what I call them
pvc seem to hold bigger fish
I also learn only 3 bamboo to a bucket produce better fish than full bamboo buckets
I only use bamboo to keep bait near my pvc trees

Put a Wal Mart plastic bag in the bucket.... bucket will slip off after concrete drys...

Most folks build cover too thick. You need a minumum of 8'' spacing to allow room for big fish to utilize your cover. I make wooden stake beds with wide spacing of 1 foot or more. More spacing means more slabs and less dinks .

I understand more space for bigger fish but do you or anyone else sink thicker brush or cedar trees for places for dink fish to hide in?

nimrod. Would you happen to have any picts of the ones you build and sink to hold the big un?
