In the 50% off, after Christmas isle, at stuff_mart I picked up a spool of this flasy tinsel material. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...4/P1011360.jpg
It has a twin thin wires running lengthwise through the material and has small looped look. My first thought was that the wire would rust rather quickly. So, I ran the test of dipping a piece in water and removing it for several times for the next few days. I also left one inside a glass of water for the same period. After 3 days it looked like new.

I might of found a new jig material. I'll tie up a jig later and see if it looks fishy. Anybody else play with this stuff?

Went for a quick stop in the 50% isle at stuff-mart which has changed to the 75% off isle now. I found a roll of green garland and at .67 cents it found its way into the cart. I can't wait to try this jig called "Bugger".

That is thinking outside the box. Let us know how it does. I have experimented with Christmas materials in the past too. Some were durable materials. Others were only good for a day or two.
