581i COMBO

GOT A NEW BOAT FOR CHRISTMAS HAS A X50 DF ON IT. WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A GPS BUT SHORT ON FUNDS NOW. FOUND A 581i COMBO FOR $244.99 SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD DEAL BUT I HAVENT FOOLED WITH DEPTHFINDERS IN ABOUT 12YRS. WOULD THIS BE WORTH IT TO HAVE A GPS NOW ??

i would buy one of the new humminbird DI models...you can get those around 300-500 i think...i odnt know if they have GPS, but i would say you definatly want GPS...also how soon do you have to have one...I have seen 797's go for 450...and i just bought a 798 for 650...to me it would be worth to dave your 250 you have now and through a few bucks in each month until you can get a 797 or better
