Remember this poem and the wind concening fishing
If the wind is from the east they bite the least
If the wind is from the west they bite the best
If the wind is from the south it falls in their mouth
If the wind is from the north don't go forth
your probably right, but i hate being in the house when im not working.
I doubt theres any crappie in your living room. Get out there!
I use to pretty much follow that poem, but after this fall, seeing all the great pic's that have been posted on days that the wind was coming from the north, northwest, northeast, I'm not buying it anymore. I guess we should follow the advice of Bill Dance: "Go when you have a the opportunity". It's always nice to be out on the waters of the mid-south even if fishing is slow, you never know what you might see!
