I have a small Game fisher boat. I do most of my fishing in creeks and other places a small boat can go. What is the best fish finder to use in creeks where the depth is probably no more than 15' in places. Has lots of logs, stumps, and fallen trees.

I don't know about the best but I'm partial to Humminbird. Been using em since the late 60's (a flasher back then). HB has low price models as well as high dollar & has a good repair policy. I have a 500 series model on the bow mainly for the 5" screen, easier to see in my late 50's.
well your off to a good start, your asking questions, money is the number one factor on a lot of our toys, if money is no object then most of your problems will not be an issue,
