boat lanes are marked, but there are still stumps in the middle of most of them!
Lake Conway is not hard to run at all, the lanes are mark pretty well, However the lake is low and some of the floating semi submerged logs can be found with a boat motor right now. I run a 18' bass boat out there with a 150 hp johnson, i have not had any troubles but i have lived on that lake my whole life. 65 mph is the only way to run lake conway. i Know where to start and where it is safe to land in all water conditions. The best advice i can give is that the faster you run the higher the boat and motor runs out of the water. As for the fish, if it is crappie you want go to Golds or to Caney Creek. Any other species is going to be tough to catch right now.
Its not that bad...just when the channel makes a sharp turn he tends to try to throw you out of the boat!!!!!
I think I will just keep going about 2 mph.
x2 I have rode with them or him, whatever
i always wondered why he kept getting the seats redone in his boat, till i rode with him!!
everyone keeps talking about them big slabs, so i was thinking of making a run up there. just wanting a heads up about it since it is a three hour pull
