It could be. But first pull your prop and make sure there is no fishing line wrapped around inside. If that is clear have your battery load tested at your local auto parts store.
A battery should last several hours if all youre pulling is a tm. I'd have it checked.
Sounds like you'll be in the market for a new battery.
what kind of trolling motor is it and do u keep power going to it at all times.i have the minnkota powerdrive with ipilot and the ipilot will always pull current from batteries so u have to plug it in when u get to the river and unplug when u leave
Your battery fluid level may be low. It wont take a good charge if thats the case. If it is, fill it with DISTILLED water and then give it a good, long, slow charge. I found that to be the case with the walmart battery i bought and after i did this, i haven't had a problem with power from it. Good luck.
