and we got some, not as much as I would like but some. now the trees are starting to Ice, crap. hope the weather man is right and it wont be a bad one, them folks have, in my opinion a bad record of getting it right.
anyway if you haven't left yet on your outing to eat to much be safe,stay warm,watch out for the other guy. fishing shall resume on sat. ice is getting thicker on the trees. crap. hope there right,and it wont be bad.
Hey at least you didn't have any tornados down your way Mr Beagle. A guy that I know lost the roof on his house and his barn last night in all those storms East of Cross Timbers, MO.
Sounds like some terrible weather youre having Beagle. Try and take a few pics of all that ice in the trees to show us tomorrow.:o Stay dry and warm.;)
We needed some rain down here in s.e. Mo but I think we over did it we got just under 4 inches here!!!
If the water would have got any deeper we could have fished off the porch!!
if you don't get some water in those rivers won't be able to run those ships up and down them

got off lucky anyway, only about 1 in. of ice, and it is starting to melt this am.
Dan got lucky, had a big wind come up from purdy and just went south of us, about a mile, no damage arround here, few trees down,and limbs on the roof, (metal) no problems, think I will smoke couple turkeys today.

got two on the smoker, had smoked sardines and crackers for tg dinner yesterday, always a day late and a bird short.
