Well we finally got some last night and today here in North Central AR.
We finally got some in Central Ar. also, which was a good deal. At the rate we were going I was afraid the fish were going to have to develop lungs instead of gills. Water is kinda important to fish. Hopefully we will be getting alot more soon. I have not looked at lake Conway in a few days, but it was real low to begin with, and with the written agreement from years back, the AG&FC are required to supply Grassy Lake WMA with water for the quacker hunters. The best recipe for duck is to cook it on a peice of plywood, throw the duck away and eat the plywood. Crappie is much more of a suitable meal than duck is. No offense to the duck hunters, I used to be one myself. Fun to hunt but terrible as table fare compared to crappie fillets.
Couldn't agree with you more about the duck. Went to Greers Sunday afternoon and it is almost 7' below normal pool.
Degray is ten feet below normal now. One of the all time lows for the lake. I've heard rumors it's to help kill the grass that has started to spread again, but I haven't seen or heard anything official.
