Nice report. Good job.
Tidal Creek, what's that, only a creek when the tide is up. Not trying to be funny, just wondering if it's something I don't know about, and it probably is. The comment about only fishing till 10 makes me curious about it being a tidal creek also. Great job catching them though, must have kept you good and busy.

We have a bunch of the tidal rivers that feed the chesapeake bay and off the ocean side of our peninsula we live on and the upper reaches of those rivers turn into brackish and eventully fresh water and have crappie and bass in them. We were fishing a small creek that branches off one of those rivers. We fished till 10 cause I had something I had to do later in the day.If ya get a chance slab look at the Chesapeake bay region on google earth or on any map you'll see all the rivers, Capt. mike on here catches crappie in the upper portion of tidal potomac near Washington DC. Mdcrappie on here catches crappie in tidal creeks in the upper chesapeake region. We're usually fishing the mid and lower portions of the delmarva peninsula. By the way thanks for having this site I have learned alot on here and really enjoy reading about other areas too.

I looked, and got to say, that area looks gorgeous. Hard to believe there's fresh water so close to all that ocean! Thanks for the info. I'll have to try and get out there some day, it's got to be breathtaking.

At the heads of alot of those creeks and rivers are dams with old millponds anywhere from 15 to 100 acres that we do alot of crappie fishing in.

Hey guys I'm up here in Baltimore right now having good time (not fishing though), looks to be plenty of good water around the Chesapeake Bay area to fish!!! And I do mean a lot of water. :)

we truely are lucky to have the good fishing we have and variety too, you can go pan fishing one day and offshore marlin the next or even in the same day if you have the right rigs to do it, and lots of other stuff in between too!
