I was doing some inside playing with my 777 in Simulator mode...Started looking at Sonar Colors in the Menu...You have 6 or 7 choices...I have used "original" most but recently went to #1....Now after looking at them all I think I like the "Grey" best..I left the unit on "Grey'' and will see how it looks on the water..

Have any of you used the different colors?

Nope. Not tried any new colors but do like the choices.

I like the Grey but if the sun is out and bright I can't see it as well. I tried them all after Mr. Pole :D was talking about it awhile back. I like the green / red combo. Don't remember the # of that combo, I can just see it better.

I'm not seeing a gray on my 778C. I have the default, and #1 thru #3. Of course I'm color blind, so maybe one of those numbers is the gray?

When you are at the default setting; try using the left arrow button to select more options in that direction. I think that you should have the gray and inverse settings as well.
