Here's a few I tied last night using some mylar that Sticksteer sent me a while back.

It'll unravel as you catch fish on them so I tried adding a dab of super glue just above the hook bend to keep it from unraveling. I like the scale pattern it makes and it seems the fish like it also.
Are they still unraveling with the super glue? Bright and shiny will attract the fish as much as a spinner blade will.
Here's some of the mylar you gave me Trey. I paired it with some pink wig hair. Ready to go to Barnett when you are.

Those look good Scott. I'll call you later and we'll get a date set to go over. I'm going to try and join ya'll for the get together on the 13th if I can work it out around my younguns busy schedules.
Ship, I haven't tried them yet since I started putting super glue on.
Ok. Let us know how they hold up. They look great.
I also tie flies using mylar. What I do is take a piece of red thread and wrap it around the mylar where it starts to unravel. Then I tie a whip finish with my hands, coat everything with cement all around the fly. So you have a mylar body with a red spot just before the tail. This also pulls the mylar together making a slim spot just before the tail.
Those look cool. Good profile.
Here are 2 I tied for a jig swap last year.
