Ky Lake Update
Just got back from a week of fishing Ky Lake Jonathan Creek and surrounding bays. Fishing was slow to say the least but the weather for the week was great. Can't say that I've ever been to Ky Lake that it didn't rain at least one day. What fish we managed were found off the points in 8-10 fow on minnows and deeper docks. Lots of bar fish and white bass and an occasional catfish, drum and sauger. Caught some nice small mouth in Sugar Bay also. Water temps in the 66 degree range early in the week and down to 63-65 later in the week. Water clear for Ky Lake and seemed to lower than winter pool. Need some rain and a good freeze to wake em up. Bass guys were having a hard time locating those Green Carp too.

Appreciate the report Downwind. Glad to see I'm not missing the peak of the fall fishing just yet. I'm chomping at the bit to go, but have experienced one of my worst weekends in a while, down with the flu! Usually when I get sick, I try to just keep going. This one got a hold of me bad, I've been down since Friday evening. Hopefully a trip to the doc and some antibiotics will have me back among the living in a few days and I'll be able to get after them.

Sorry to hear your sick Brad. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Sounds like some cooler weather is on the way so maybe you'll be on your feet just in time for the real Fall Bite.
