Thursday, Friday crappie

New poster to the board, however been reading for a several years. Brother has place on Eddy Creek. Been going there for several years. Went out Thursday and battled the wind. Caught a few crappie on minnows and a few on road runners. Also caught caught a 4# smalley on a road runner. Picture and release. May post pic later. Friday, a little better. After fighting the wind, went to dipping downed trees. Literally on the bank. Did better than casting to brush. Highlight was a 14 1/2" crappie and several right behind it. Need cloud cover BAD! Fished hard! Will be back in 12 days to wear them out! Hopefully water temps will be around 60 or below, but I doubt it.

Atleast you got to enjoy a couple days on the water finding 'em and catching some fish. Sounds like some slabs too.;) Congrats...and welcome to the boards.:)

Way to go......end of week I'll be hunting those dang crappie!
