My youngest son, Jake, is home for fall break from college and wants to catch some crappie or fish in general. We're ready to go on White River, Black River, Lake Conway, Horseshoe, Mellwood, or wherever. Anyone got any reports or thoughts?

You might add Peckerwood to your list.
I meant to, but I'm getting to be a brain dead old poot.
Heard that Gold Creek and Caney Creek at Lake Conway are pretty good spots for some crappie right now. Good luck!
Hey DFC is that boat in you post a Duracraft from Monticello AR?
Naw, it's a 1960 Maramarine or how ever you spell it, lol. I wish it was a Duracraft but none the less it a good boat for what I need it for.
We're catching limits of real nice crappie on Greeson right now if that's not to far for you. I'll be glad to give you waypoints for the AG&FC condos we've put in the lake so you would have plenty of places to fish. The spotted bass are hitting live crawfish real well too if you can get your hands on some crawfish. If you want to fish a couple days the Daisy Motel has nice rooms for $40 a night or three nights for $100.
that's top notch jerry and i don't even know you.
I think I will try to catch a few with one arm at Greers tomorrow.
