Mylar star wars minnow.
I found a new material that is lightweight and virtually indestructible. It is chrome on one side and black on the other. I started playing around with it this evening. I really like the attracting qualities of this baby. I am going to call it "Dat Minnow"

Man that looks good Ship. I've been trolling crankbaits all summer for crappie and chrome and black are two of the best colors.

Scott this stuff is better than flashabou. It will attract as if there was a spinner blade on the jig but it is the material that will be reflecting the light. It is durable yet pliable enough to move with the slightest movement in the water. I am going to tip it with a waxie nd see what happens.

I saved the packaging of some oreo cookies. Chrome silver on the inside and reflective blue on the outside. I tried it one day last week with little sucess. I'll have to try it again later. I love playing with no-cost materials...lol.

Looks good Ship. Lots of flash in that one.

Ship nicely done and I bet you will come up with another pattern or two before all is said and done. You just never know when you can come up with some neat material to make a killer jig.

I'll bet those would work good through the ice this winter also! Love the slim pattern.

I like the design Ship!!!

Maybe you should name it Star Wars Minnow as it looks kind of futuristic. Nice one and I bet all that shinny stuff catches some fish.
