High seas at Crescent
Went yesterday afternoon for a littlw while. Got there about 4pm. The wind was outrageous, looked like the ocean. It took everything i had to drive across the lake to the island to get outta the wind. Got on the downwind side of the island and it was still really rough. After a about 15 mins of tyring to troll i literally got lightheaded from the rocking. Drove back and fished a couple of docks and caught 2 small dinks. Man it sucked. I hope when we get together and fish the wind is down cause if it aint, that is onr brutal lake when the wind is up, there is no place to get away from it.

LOL we found that out the hard way ourselves when we went last weekend. We went up Dunns creek a few, by the time we left and headed back to the park......it was full tilt ROLLING. Man that place can get scary FAST. By the time we arrived back at the ramp, we were worn out. Gotta say that was some of the hardest water I had to cross in my bass boat yet.

CrapSlabStu, you will learn one of these days........sometimes it's best just to wait till the weather is better.......I know....the fish are calling.

lightwirehooker, I heard that you are dreaming almost every night of 3lb plus crappies at Talquin. Any truth to it?

I hope to post few pictures this week. Heard some good reports from Talquin. The fish were in 10-14 feet of water.
