Pledge

Is it ok to use pledge on trailer bunks, I was wanting to know if it is okay on alum boats.

i'm sure you'll be fine with no reaction.

to fully ease your mind pick out a small spot on your boat and dab it with the pledge and let it sit for as long as you want.

A friend had me try PAM spray-just left a sticky mess. Once I got that off I've been using store-brand silicone spray. Works like a charm.

I really believe silicone spray would be much better than pledge

Lots of motorcycle owners use pledge to clean and shine their bikes. Apparently it does not harm paint, but I have not tried it on my bike, I use Honda spray polish/cleaner on my bike, and regular car wax on the paint on my boat. I don't know if it would have a reaction with aluminum.
