Lake Nimrod
The fish have been biting good enough to catch plenty most days. But for those that fish there watch out for the nets. The commercial fishermen to set nets starting Oct.1. With the lake drawndown it may get tough to stay out of them if your not careful. Hopefully the rough fish numbers will be reduced.

Thanks, Nimrod. Glad you're catchin'em. Any size to them? Don't know if I'll make it over there before deer season in a couple of weeks, but will watch for commercial nets if I do.

Easy to catch a limit, catching good fish most days with a little effort. Some days limits of 10 to 14'' and somedays have to fill in a few dinks to limit out.

That'll work for me! Good job and thanks for the reply.

I really hope that I can get over there sometime and catch another ice chest full before I get sucked in by the deer woods!!! Thanks for the heads up!!

Hey Fish,
You been catching any of them crappie eaters yet?
-
Sure have , put my nets out and catching a fair number. Tempted to pull em and go back Crappie fishing though.

I figured they'd be stacked up pretty good with the water level like it is up there. I was doing pretty good on the river until they shut the flow down last week.

Nimrod,
I met you a few weeks ago on the lake. You may remember that I had Ranger Seats in my little flat bottom. You gave me your catch and told me I should register here and I finally did.
Coming to Nimrod this weekend and was wondering if the fish have moved shallower with the cooler weather?
Thanks

Don't know for sure , net season opened Oct.1 and I can't sport fish while commercial fishing. The handle fits lol lol never saw a boat where the seats were worth more than the boat. Welcome to the forum.
