Take the good with the bad
Son and I went fishing this morning, he's 30 and the first time we've done anything "together" since he was in pony league baseball. So, that was good!
Driving out, rolled down the electric passenger window to wave bye to the wife and it wouldn't roll back up! That was/is bad.
It was about 50 degrees on the lake, very breezy and overcast, I can't say if that was bad but it sure was cold!!
Everything we caught was a keeper, that was very good, everything we caught was 3 bluegill and two perch, not exactly bad but a ways from good I think.
We fished for about two hours before the first bluegill, caught on a night crawler. About two minutes later I caught a real nice gill on a beetle spin with a gulp minnow on it and I thought "OH BOY" here we go! Didn't get another for about two more hours, I just don't understand fish sometimes!
