Don;t think the Crappie will be in such a tight school YET. BTW, looks like the wind was blowing abit by the rippled bottom on the down image view
That is what I was thinking... They sure did show up mighty bright.. Must be some bigger shad. Usually they will barely show up on the down imager.
Yeah must have been a little windy. These images are better than most of mine. Usually it looks like a tidal wave on the bottom..
I was down there last summer fishing for Stripers and hooked into close to a 12 inch Shad. I ain't never see one that big before. They were all over Pelahatchie Bay flicking the top of the water from daylight to about 10ish but the one's I saw were about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long is all
Weird...I can't see the 1st pic, but can the second. DD is an idjit. However, with a 50/50 shot, he got lucky. Shad.
Wannabe...
Yeah when I go jug fishing and throw the cast net.. We catch some big shad.... I just have not seen them in the open water until now. Usually the ones I have been seeing are just a couple inches. Thanks fellas...
Glad you can see the pic Wannabe... Since i didn't post them the wannabe way...
The IT folks must be messin' with me again. Can't see neither this time.
Wannabe...

They are large schools of crappie chasing shad.
