how do I get ahold of PZ Poleholder
Beagle,
I've got 'em on my 17/50 Xpress front, side and back. Be sure you like the mounting location and make sure it's sturdy and you won't have any problems. They come with a 3/8" wing nut that holds the "T" bar down on the post. I replaced the wing nut on mine with a bigger 3/8" T handle so I could snug them down easier. Just don't tighten them down too much 'cause I guess you could crush the aluminum "T" bar tubing by doing so. The hole you drill for the stainless steel base plate will be pretty good size too, about 5/8"-3/4" (it's a stainless 3/8" nut welded to the under side of the 3" square mounting plate) so be sure you like the location before you drill. I use their gunslinger style rod holders with mine, even pulling cranks, and haven't had a problem with the rod staying in place. Course they have several other styles of rod holders that fit thier bases. To me, they are the most versatile holder on the market as they have so many different styles and mounting options. Been running mine 4 years with no problems yet. Oh yeah, they even come in colors now, blue, red, black and chrome.

Thank you fellow CDCrs for the vote of confidence. I started out to make something that worked for me, and this is what I came up with. I make them as strong and reliable as possible, that way 100% guarantee is a no brainer..
Anyone got a pix they can post here?
