toaster oven question?
ok so i bought this toaster oven at a garage sale for 5.00 and got it home and pluged it in a turned it on and stuck a tempature probe in the top of the oven and then set oven for 350 deg. and let it heat up and well never used a toaster oven before and so not sure what is normal but this thing when set to 350 deg. will swing 50 -/+ from 350 deg is this normal and will it work for curring powder paint on jig heads and stuff

It will still work fine. The heating element just turns off and on to try and maintain the set temp. I set mine at 315 degrees and set the timer 20 minute and walk away and leave it.

My temp setting is 325 and I do the same as Jigging15. When the timer goes off I open the door and let em cool and tie em up.

I have a $14.95 special that works just fine.

That's pretty normal. They go off and on like stated.I keep mine at about 325 also amd cure for 15 to 20 minutes.

I just bought one from wally world for $20. I'm thinking of getting into the powder paints, right now I'm using nail polish.
