385ci software ?

What is the current software version on the 385ci? I'm showing 4.670

The current software we are using to produce the 385ci units with is 5.020
I was told that for now software updates would not be posted on the Humminbird web site but that registering your unit there would give you access to the HumminbirdPC software. Updated software is available through the Humminbird Customer Resource folks at 1-800-633-1468.

5.030 here buddy! Just bought it three weeks ago

Guys, I just called Humminbird and they are saying there is no upgrade for the 300 series. Any suggestions on who else to call. Very polite about it but according to customer service --only the 700-800-900 has an upgrade.

Call back and ask for Sharon. tell her that you are the guy that Greg spoke with her about who was asking about a software upgrade for his 385ci unit. Be advised though: unlike the 700, 800, 900 and 1100 series units: this is not a free upgrade.

I don’t know if it would be worth it or not. The software release notes state that there was a change in how the unit reads in shallow water, that an ice fishing feature was added and that the units would have LakeMaster card capabilities. I don’t know if you would fish an area covered by the LakeMaster mapping cards or if you would buy one to view on the small screen of the 385ci unit. I have not seen this ice fishing feature either though I hear it is supposed to mimic our ICE Flasher units. Maybe Percidae Papermouth can comment on that since he has a 385ci unit with the new software in it.

Use the Nav Prem card and it's working fine. No Ice fishing for me. Think I'll leave well enough alone and run what I have. Thanks for the help Gregg!
