Think about an upsidesdown T half dozen BIG nails and a bag of quickcrete
Forgive the 1 better- saw this in an old bass magazine yrs ago, ditto as stated, simply add 10 hole bricks wired to 2 slats down low, these apparently become crayfish to bass feeding "straws"; young (and older ) bass learn to eyeball them literally and suck the contents out in a vortex a smaller crayfish simply can`t hope to resist, slightly bigger partial or whole pieces of ceramic or PVC drainage tile does the same thing on a larger scale. simply ensure wedged securely in place, generally any broken ends inside. The last ones going into CJ Marina and emergency spillway will have this feature, for that reason. Yrs ago SAW a small smallie do this exact thing, am sure he/ she was getting insect larvae, minnows, as well as anything else either seeking darkness and/ or safety from things like him/ her. COULD NOT get this obviosly hungrally feeding fish to hit unless apparently could get minnow INTO any of those 10 holes. AS SOON as food was gone BAM! Off goes my minnow and smug thing swam into deeper hole and wouldn`t hit another, probably stuffed to busting. Hope fat little cracker covering got indigestion from too many crayfish at 1 setting! Serve `em right!
