Better start buying some Zinc,lol.
does any one know what the melting point for tin is ? is it higher or lower then lead and how does it pour compared to lead?
tin melting point 449.41998 °F
lead melting point 621.5 °F
so does that mean that my DO-ITmolds will work with tin as well?
You'll need a flyrod to cast them out, lol.I'm going to start making them out of old nuts and soldering the hooks on.Oh.that's right. No more solder either.

Forget Zinc!!!! This is the comment on what they propose to be banned:
"certain smaller size fishing sinkers containing lead and zinc, and mixed with other substances, including those made of brass"
That word other substances without full explanation is the scary part of this. It could include many things and they don't specify.
Tungsten is out of everyone's reach cause it would Destroy your molds, and I sure don't have a melter to reach 6192 °F
It's easy for them to say alternate materials but I know for one I don't have the available cash to replace all my lead based lures and replace my stock of lead with alternates.

Oh, don't worry.I'll be buying whatever it is from you guys, lol.
