Now THAT's what I call a Fall Camp Right there!
Fellas, me and the bes had a very large time. Friends, Fun, Food, Games, Explicit acts performed by Big Blue and DD....what more could a fella ask for this far away from Burbon Street?
Can't say enough about the food. Just wish I could have 'et more of it. Slabo, that blackened Crappie of yours makes me feel all warm and tingly. Don't really know who cooked what, but the fish and the sausages were excellent. Crappieman101 even did a dang good job impersonating a person with talent in the kitchen on the naner puddin. I had to skip the ice cream from Torch's wife this time though, but I know it was good enough to hurt. Only one item was of a dubious nature. The 1/2" french fries.....what's up with that?
It was good to see the regulars and I was tickled pink to meet some new faces too:
Gene - EZ Pole Holder - Bout time I put a face with that metallic genious of yours. I appreciate you showing off your boat and still can't get over how you swapped it from console to stick and got it all to look factory built.
DonG - I wanted to ask you what kind of dare did you lose out on to be wearing that shirt, but since it was our first meeting, I thought better of it. It was awful good to see a home boy get back to the home place and mighty glad you made the trip.
Cockrum - Hate I only got a few minutes with ya, but enjoyed meeting you too......But I'm gonna whip ya if you come back to my lake and drag any more limits outta there.
Scott and Steve - The Okatibbe Twins - Look, one of ya'll needs to figure out how to get them pics done right or there's gonnabe a killin'. Was glad to see ya'll take a break from pummeling those Okatibbe fish with Bandits and make it to the camp.
Beagleman - I still think I could have took you in a cage match, but honestly, it was just a bit too warm to try. I'm just glad there was somebody of repute to represent MO in a better light this go around.....Speck's been draggin' ya'll down for years now. :) Dang glad to finally meet ya.
Tushhog - Even though we met on the water before, this is the first time on dry land, so you get a mention too. Hate I didn't get to talk to you much and especially hate I didn't get to meet you wife....I mean, you're OK and all, but she seems really nice. :) You must be rich or something is all I can figure. LOL.
KittyGetter - Boy, you ain't never gonna amount to nuthin' if you keep runnin' with the same crowd. You done been warned and don't call me lookin' for bail money neither.
I know there was several new faces I didn't get around to meeting and I hate that a buch. I really tried to make sure to shake hands with everybody, but it's just dang hard when ya got that big of a crowd.
And an extra big thank you to the suppliers of the give aways:
Crappie Logic - dadgum pieces of art I tell ya.
ScottV - You do some good work man. I've already picked out 3 or 4 that I want to force feed a fish with.
Slab - Thanks to C.C's own Ed for the scent and chapstick. Showed it to Is and she just thought that was gross - minnow scented chapstick. LOL.
Gene - EZ Pole Holder - thanks for the depth charts. Like yours a lot better than the one I got before.
Not sure who brought the Andys or the hats, but a thank you to them.
Saw some shirts that got given away too. Didn't get one of them though....what's up with that? LOL.
Shout out to Old Rook for administering the door prizes too....guess tipping him the $20 to make sure I got some good stuff really worked out well for me. :)
Enjoyed the heck out of it fellas.
The only trouble with these camps is it takes so long for the next one to roll back around.
Wannabe...
