you're a week late I am afraid. River should be on a rise by then. No, wait. Looks like it might not rise after all. Supposed to already level off. Know a couple of groups that caught 200 or so last weekend.
Where do you get minnows there?Also is there any place to eat? Wheres the closest place to stay besides on the lake?
Bait shop at ramp.no place to eat. Motel on Helena about 25 miles away. Cabins on lake are the deal if you take groceries. Full kitchen
Best fried chicken in Elaine is at the gas station. Oh, wait it's the only fried chicken in Elaine. It is good though. Don't let the look scare you. They're nice people with some good food.Quote:
