96 merc. 25hp problem
i just bought a 96 tracker and put it the water today. it cranked and ran fine till i slowed down, then it died. i had to choke it with the throttle down before it "caught". it runs fine from 1/2 to full throttle, but slow down and it dies and is hard to get it to "catch". this boat has been in storage for three years and when i bought it idled like new in a tank. any suggestions would be appreciated.

go to auto parts store, run some sea foam threw it should fix it right up

if the sea foam dont work its time for a carb rebuild no bigge if you have the time to do it your self if not maybe 150.00 also check your fuel pump it may have dried up and went bad good luck
