The best part is you can make whatever you want. If you want Ultra Minnow heads, make them, if you like round heads, do that. You'll pay $25-35 for a Do-It mold. If you use different sizes then get the mold that covers all sizes, if you only use one then you can knock them out faster with the mold that's all one size.
Make sure you don't get any moisture/water around your molten lead, learn to flux it, and make sure you have good ventilation.
Crazy Angler has excellent prices on sickle hooks, give him a shout. Not sure if he carries molds or not.

i wouldnt skimp on the molds, and do-it makes some of the best and if i was you i would buy molds that make different sizes that way if u need some different sizes you'll have them and when u buy hooks buy inbulk if you can you can get lead from junk yards or if u know some place to get soft lead that works the best :) and like smoothlure said learn to flux it makes pouring 10X eaiser and i use canning wax (gulf wax) to flux good luck and have fun and use saftey glasses and gloves and a good ventalation system

If you are going to use mainly grubs get molds with a barbed collar, preferably a downbarbed collar which pushes the plastic down and creates more hook gap with plastics. You'll get more fish hookups. If you pour a lot of jigs during summer which in the past for me is a pain because of the humidity you get more shortfills, there is a product called Dropout which you spray your molds with. It cost me $9.40 at Zeiner's. Jigs are easier to remove from molds and no more shortfills, truly a great product. I wish I'd known about it five years ago when I started pouring my own. Zeiner's sells molds as well and have better pricing then most places. For jighooks buy 1000 cts. if possible and check with CRAZY ANGLER TACKLE. He's got great pricing on everything, including jig hooks.

JJJ,
That's funny that you mention Zeiner's. I've been in that shop many times! It's just a little hole-in-the-wall place that's absolutely PACKED with more fishing stuff than you could use in a lifetime. Kinda makes me laugh every time I pull in to the parking lot. GREAT store, wonderful people, pretty good prices.
