I've not heard any good reports on the Crappie lately.

I looked at one of those "Hotspot" maps that they sell at Wal-Mart for Tenkiller and it listed Strayhorn Landing as a crappie spot. I went by there and it's a decent sized cove with a marina and some long areas of tires out in the water. I didn't put in my little boat to check it out though. Might be a good place to start looking for them though.
There are some Walleye in the lake, but I don't think there's a lot of them. I caught about a 3 pound Walleye about 10 years ago while Bass fishing. I was really surprised. According to the wildlife department the last time any Walleye were stocked was in 1998.Quote:

Crappie slow around Cherokee Landing. Small sandies and a few brownies are all I've hooked into.
Go there one time a year in April, we trolled for 16 inch slabs.....
