Had a lil fishin trip to Conway this morning. went up to Plarm Creek and fished the pads. I had some big bass hit a frog but couldn't hook um.

Cute lil fishing partner.:D Could have been Bass or maybe Gar. Next time don't set the hook till you feel the fish. Lots of fishermen set the hook before the fish takes the bait good on top water baits. Especially frogs or buzzbaits. Hope this helps next time.;)
Welp least ya had a cute lil fishin partner. Looked like that fishi wore her out
I've been told that you need to use braided line when you're fishing with frogs. Something about not wanting any line stretch to be able to get a good hook set.

Need to leave those green carp alone and take that cute girl crappie fishing.

awesome pics that neither of you will forget. How old is she? I have a 2 yr old little girl im wanting to take but her momma would throw a fit now. She does like to ride in the boat, but for fishin I think maybe a little young yet. your thoughts on best way to introduce her to the livelihood of fishin
Tommy, I was carrying my boys duck hunting when they were 3. I just had to carry lots of extra stuff to fight the boredom when it got slow.
Take a sack full of Little Debbies snacks if ya wanna fish for about 4-5 hours.
Take a half a sack if ya wanna fish for about 2-3 hours.
Proven with 2 kids in boat.
