or check in the back of a Field & Stream magazine, if you can find one. Before ordering check any business with the on-line better business bureau to see if they have problems.

Post a thread in this forum. Perhaps some on here who grow the
worms can send you a few to start a herd. They reproduce quickly. Good luck. Also check Cabelas.

They do very good with really nice worms.They also have a forum to talk worms with the EXPERT,lol.
Canadian Nightcrawlers are almost impossible to raise.Check out my African Nightcrawlers in some other post here.If you have a really cool place to keep them,you could possibly raise some European Nightcrawlers.My Africans are for warm to hot temps.
If you can find a copy of it get the Fishing Facts BOOK
"Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers" and an old refrigerator. Lot's of great tips on how to have nightcrawlers all the time. Either edition of the book will work.

papaw had a couple of old chest type freezers he eraised night crawlers in on and red wigglers in the other!!! Set em under a row of privet hedge for shade in Calhoun county MS
I entered different kinds of worms in search for google to do the walking. I received lots of replies. I found one on ebay and amazon that is in Olive Branch, MS. That's about 12 miles away.
Make sure the worm bed is set up where Fire ants can not get to them. If the legs of the Bed is in standing water with a few drops of oil to cut down Evaporation you can have bait. if the water is gone the Ants move in and you will never get them out
