I love to fish Rip Rap I'm a one pole vertical jigger. and the bass like it too I use only cranks and spinnerbait's, and my bass rod an reel
I also fish rip-rap with a crankbait and also use a 1 1/2 inch shad body on a 1/16 ounce jig head. With the jig I make short casts, because it will hang up in the rocks if you make long casts.
I fish them several different ways
Spider-rig, and jigs paralelling the rip-rap.
Throw an anchor out in deep water, and an anchor on the bank, and slide out to the depth of the fish are holding and drop some minnows down to them.
