Construction has begun on the new Kentucky Lake Bridge

These bridges are going to be very nice when they are done.

If I'm read'n that right, they are not start'n constrution on the new bridge but reducing the traffic to 1 lane so repairs can be made on the old bridge deck.

All boat trailers are over 7.5 ft. so we will have to go I 24 to get to Jonathan Creek ????

Put in on the east side of bridge at Fenton and it is a short boat ride across the lake to Jonathan.

From what I'm hearing, semis are still using it like there is no limit.

Come on Wiskers, don't confuse him with the facts. We'll probably be lucky to see those bridges finished in our lifetimes.

:D When they finish at Ledbetter they are suposed to move to Canton on Barkley, then to Eggners. I wish it were the other way arround. I get tired of put'n 30 barges thru that son of a gun! :eek: Gonna have to have a new pucker muscle installed.
