Let me know what you all think about this one. Please be honest. I've already got some changes I want to make to it. Next one will have a bigger hook and the willow blade will be attached differently.I'll post new pics when I get the next one made. #2 willow with #8 hook. Gonna go for some perch this weekend, Have to try this out.

A Yellow Perch should bite that no problem!
-
Looks good!Does it have any weight to it?
-
Looks good,it'll jerk a perch out of his fins
-
Az not much weight. Only weight is from solder. I plan on fishing these on a weighted spreader .

jigtwins; i make a jigging spoon that would work good on your rig, 1/16 oz about 3/4'' long, let me know if if you wish to try them. u catch um
-
if you can get some weight on it, it might be a good lure to long line for crappie....I long line somthing similar with sucess, its honestly a few beads, a spinner, and a hook (like a single hook worm harness, or minnow harness that wally fishermen use). I usally put a solid body tube, or a twisty tail grub on the hook, but have had luck with minnows on it also, I just use a split shot up the line a little for the weight, but I bet with weight you could long line that and catch crappie.

Thanks for the compliments, I tried it out yesterday. Got a few gills on it before I donated it to the trees! Thats the price you pay for fishing the cover. I'll make some more later.

looks like it would catch some stripe around the dam
