Small Jigs
I know some tie smaller heads as I do too, but this guy wanted some small profile jigs because he thinks he does better on little jigs. So he gave me the color he wanted and picked one with eyes on my site that is dual chenille, not really easy to do on a 1/32 #8 Sickle.
Shame you can't see the gray one better in the picture as it's really buggy since I used Buggy Nymph Yarn and then after tied you can pick it with a dubbing brush which are easy to make your own like I did. It is for sure more buggy than it looks in this picture since it's a white background. If you like that yarn I know after I ordered some Flat added this material into his stock. I use it more from blue gills, but should be great for crappie too when you want a dubbed body look without having to do the dubbing.
Anyway what do you guys think, will they hunt for him?

look good skip...i like the tails on the ones on the bottom right..

That dog will hunt. Nice job. AZ, you just use smaller drill bits for the eyes than you do on the 1/16th jigs.

Like you had to ask if I'd like the gray ones. The buggy chenille is cool. Just learning the eyes myself, and looking for some of the proper size drill bits. Those will all hunt for sure. Balck/chart is one of my mainstays. As always, nice work.

I like them all, but the bee is my favorite.

I really like them all, small is fun to tie if you can keep from getting a head ache.
With the eyes, do you use a clear coat over them?

If he cant catch fish on those, it aint the jigs fault. Nice work!!
